Energy Ministers in conversations with unions and UKCOAL about Kellingley, in the 1960's they would have been sending out for beer and sandwiches...probably a skinny latte and wraps now.
Bearing in mind the energy security question I hope they come up with a fix in the countries interest quickly.
Buys some time to look at other possibilities. Gives a respite for those who work at Kellingley. Ed Milliband when he was Energy Secretary saw a number of pits close without action, he just does not get it.
