One of four Conservative District
Councillors on the Eastern edge of West Yorkshire, working with Mark Crowther for Pontefract South, Phil Thomas for Pontefract North and Richard Molloy for Ackworth, North Elmsall and Upton wards of the Wakefield Metropolitan District Council in West Yorkshire.
Elected in 2006, as only the second Conservative Councillor to be elected in the towns of Normanton, Pontefract and Castleford since 1974 (how things are changing). Re-elected on 6th May 2010.
Member of the now 20 strong Conservative Group, the majority opposition group on WMDC.
