Snow Queen updated

Whilst coverage of trunk roads continued to be limited, a dedicated team of council employees of up to 300, went out into Town Centres working, to clear ice and snow from high streets and footpaths.

Waste collection and recycling was restricted, as Refuse vehicles struggled to access estates and side roads, due to ice, snow and abandoned cars.

The pantomime at Pontefract Town Hall was absolutely excellent!!

I wonder what they will pick for 2011.
